GLENBROOK STUDIOS® PROGRAM™ for ACTORS

Glenbrook Studios® offers a variety of workshops tailored to both the aspiring and professional actor. Each succeeding workshop requires satisfactory completion of the prior workshop. Access to the entire program is $1500. Discounts and financial arrangements are available to those who qualify. Private tutoring is also available for students 18 years of age or older, or younger if accompanied by an adult. Each level is $595, if purchased separately.

A-I. Working With Your Talent - Cold Reads, Commercial Reads, Audition Techniques, Monologues, Scene Study, On-Camera Basics and Improv.

A-II. Acting for Film - An intensive one-day workshop consisting of the following areas of training:

The Subtleties of Film Acting: Close-Ups, Minimalism and How the Camera Never Lies; Vocalization; No Stage Acting!

Shot-to-Shot Performances:Blocking and Movement related to Match-Cutting and the Actor's Responsibilities;

Mastering Non-Sequential Time: Performing Out of Sequence Without Going Out of Your Mind;

Selling Yourself: How to Build Your Demo Reel (you can use footage filmed in this workshop).

A-III. Ensemble Work - This very intensive weekend-long or multiple-Saturday workshop focuses on working hands-on as a Team, Developing Character, Mastering First Takes, Testing Your Limits, Cinematic Challenges, Making Adjustments and Delivering Your Best Effort, all under pressure at the Director's command.

The sessions are scheduled once rosters reach our threshhold amount. If you have not heard from us in awhile, it's probably because your name is still on a waiting list. Feel free to contact us again to check on your status. No one is admitted to these classes outside our audition selection process. Seniority is given to former students.

We will contact you once we have openings. Be prepared to explain why you want training and, if accepted, work hard.

ATTENTION: Acceptance to The Program&trade will be determined by interview and audition. No refunds (use it or lose it) but transferable, if permitted by instructor. Most "weekend-long" workshops include hot meals and guest instructors from the industry.

We run a respectable operation of consummate professionals. Hard to maintain in a town like Las Vegas, Nevada, which still might be the Wild Wild West but we have standards, principles, values and integrity to uphold. Reputation, responsibility and honesty are what we honor.
